What:
Leadership Training on GSNA 2010 - 2011 Plan of Action and Legislative Training for the coming Legislative Session.
Who Should Attend:
GSNA Affiliated Chapters: GSNA Officers and State Committee Chairs, District Presidents, District President-elects, Local Chapter Presidents, Local Chapter President-elects and District Legislative Chairs. All attendees must be current members of Georgia School Nutrition Association. Only two delegates from each district or local chapter will be reimbursed for hotel expenses. Additional people may attend if space permits and they pay the $70 registration fee. (see below)
When:
Thursday, June 10th and Friday, June 11, 2010. The first general session begins at 12:30 pm on Thursday, June 10, 2010. The training will conclude at 12:30 pm on Friday, June 11, 2010. (*NOTE- District Legislative Chairs will meet with the State Legislative Chairs on Thursday, June 10th at 9:30 am. This is for District Legislative Chairs only!)

Cost:
Registration for District & Local delegates is $50.00. Early registration deadline to register is May 28, 2010. This fee includes a handbook and materials. The District and Local delegates may be the President and President-elect, or any other chapter member.
What expenses GSNA will pay for:
* Mileage: No mileage is paid for Leadership delegates.
* Hotel: GSNA will reimburse the cost of a shared hotel room for one night (Thursday, June 10th) for the approved attendees. (GSNA Incoming Executive Board members will be reimbursed for two nights if needed to attend the board orientation on Wednesday.)
* No Meals will be provided or reimbursed.
Additional Attendees: You may send more people to this training at the expense of your chapter, subject to meeting space availability. Cost for an additional person is $70.00.
Leadership & Legislative Training is the kickoff event for 2010-2011. We are looking forward to seeing you there!
